when i say i am emotionally connected, i so truly mean it.....from the bottom of my heart.
I came across this fascinating river last week during my journey on the train. every time i come pass by, i feel elated and the feeling is good way off explanation. My practice of polytheism has made me well connected to nature.I was made to worship everything in my system. I performed numerous rituals on a zillion things on this earth without understanding any reason. The idea instigating this always babbled obscurity in my childhood. It took 20 years to discover that Every element of the nature is given a special place in Indian mythology, ranging from sky,fire,air,land and water to stars in the universe.
I hope the day comes when we show genuine respect to nature and our rivers, by not polluting them further ! Its Ironic that R. Ganga, which is considered holy is scarily dirty today !
